Grandmothers Dream

Enid is 56 years old. She is raising 5 grandchildren. The youngest is 2 years old and the oldest is 8 years old. With such a full house, it's no surprise that Enid struggled to feed and care for her family.

Thanks to YOUR support, she has been able to get training through her Granny Group to learn how to start a business and manage a micro-finance loan. After she was trained and felt confident in herself, she petitioned her Granny Group for a loan to start a coffee growing business. Her fellow Granny Group members voted to give her 300,000 Ugandan Shillings (that's $86.71 USD)!

Enid had a great profit her first year of 500,000 Ugandan Shillings ($200 USD). She used part of it to purchase a young bull that she plans to sell for 600,000 Ugandan Shillings ($240 USD).

Many grandmothers like Enid are using the business skills YOU taught them and the micro-finance loans YOU gave them to change their lives!

Thank YOU!
