In this quarter from January to March, 2024 the marginal rural women were demanding income generation activities as a sustainable livelihood improvement. Based on technical feasibility of the areas where they live, the implementing organization MRC Nepal have been introduced off season late winter vegetable production technologies by organizing marginal rural women farmer. In this regards these rural women involved from nursery raising activities to post harvest handling and marketing. Along with these, these rural women get production inputs, training and technical backstopping suppot by MRC staff . So that these rural women are capable of earning so attractive income from a pieces of land. These also create employment and income generation.
In spite of these achievement, these rural women also solved the problem of the malnutrition and undernutrition through the regular supply of green vegetable in their kitchen which are enrich of vitamins, proteins, minerals carbohydrates, roughages, etc.
At the end they thanked to GlobalGiving and MRC Nepal and expectation of continued support.
