During this period from june to August 2023, the organization have been carried out an excited and encouraging works for poorest of the poor women in rural community of Makwanpur district Nepal. Such activities are early winter vegetable nursery establishment for off-season fresh vegetable production catering good price of vegetable products in early winter season. So that these benifcaries are capable of generating income for expending household expenditure and education of their children. These poor women are related with GlobalGiving Resources supported families of poor rural women who cook their meal in improve cookstove. For the control of disease and pest of vegetable crops these beneficiaries also prepare domestic bio-pesticides by using locally available materials such as GITI MAL or JHOL MAL which is so effective and environment friendly for application to produce organic vegetable.
These beneficiaries have also trained with skill enhancement capacity building training for vegetable producton and marketing and followed by technical backstopping support. So that they will be able of earning attractive income from selling of vegetable product in off-season and received good income to invest on improved cook stove. As a result the poor women and children will get rid of indoor smoke pollution.
At the end these beneficiaries thanked to GlobalGiving and MRC Nepal with their own voices.
