As we keep arriving at the Wixárika Indigenous Communities, we keep seeing how more and more people come closer to our project. In the last few months, we developed a new health campaign against children's anemia, for this, we took a small blood sample from all the children who are beneficiaries of our project, after that, we have a special device where we can read the values of hemoglobin in the blood and diagnose anemia. We had over 50 cases of children's anemia, and these cases received complete treatment and their whole families received treatment against stomach parasites.
By making this and keep carrying out our nutritional and educational program, we keep reaching over 1000 children in the Wixárika Indigenous Communities. We have learned a lot from the pandemic, about how we can be more efficient in our actions, and how important is to teach a prevention culture. This is why our interaction in these communities keeps having measures against Covid-19, we keep delivering different types of products, such as masks, alcohol, and soap. This is to assure our beneficiaries and personnel's safety.
We want to thank you very much for your donation, and we are going to stay at the frontline in this battle against hunger.
¡Best regards!
