Nourishing 1100 children of the Wixarika Community

Hello.

We want to thank you for your support in our mission. This last month we have reached two new communities in a new municipality called Huejuquilla el Alto. This new communities have over 100 children from the Wixárika Communities that were suffering from food insecurity. Through your help we have reached this communities delivering our interaction and impacting broadly on all the families in the community.

We have also developed a new educational tool called the Wixarika ONIdiary, that is an educational booklet focused on nutritional and alimentary topics, which objective is to improve the alimentary habits and the nutritional health of all the community, this booklet is translated to the Wixarika language and contextualized to their culture, in order for it to be useful and helpful.

First of all, we want to thank you for your help in nourishing more than 1000 children on the Sierra Wixárika of Jalisco. Through your help we delivered our children formula to the Wixárika community, this delivery is attached to a nutritional and educational program. Through our interaction we manage to deliver food security and end malnourishment in the Wixárika Community. This year we aim to arrive to more communities that need our help, create better and more healthier alimentary habits, and creating a healthy food system were people understand the importance of having a healthy alimentation and using natural ingredients in their food preparation.

We have made monthly trips to the communities were our nutritionist and social workers. This trips represent our closeness and engagement with the community, even with the rise of delinquency and insecurity, ONI A.C. keeps arriving, always taking all the needed measures in order to garantee the safety of all our collaborators.

We want that you keep helping our mission and expanding to more needed communities, this year will be crucial in the nutrition of thousands of children and we will be working hard to achieve all of our goals.
