Warm love greeting from children at YUM Kalimantan Library

Dear GlobalGiving generous donors,

I hope this letter finds you well. I would like to take this opportunity to share my wonderful experience during my visit to YUM Integrated Community Library in Kalimantan last March.

I met the library staff and get closely involved with the children. They are so cheerful, enthusiastic about reading, and excited to participate in the diverse library activities. The librarian told me that many children are so keen to come to the library that they come from school, and she had to ask them to go home first to change their clothes and have lunch!

When I was there, the Library had Health and Nutrition workshops. The librarian informed the children about the danger of worms and the importance to have clean hands. The children were so focused during the session. YUM always tries to educate the children about healthy living. After the health presentation, the children gathered in the hall to have a glass of milk. The other activities that I got involved with are Arts and Crafts, as well as the Dance Club.

I’ve attached some pictures for your perusal, and hope that you will be able to visit the Library someday, to see firsthand the joy your support has brought into these children’s lives.

Thank you for your continuous support,

Behalf on the children in Bukit Batu, Central Kalimantan

Kind regards,

Yolanda
