"You cannot teach an hungry child". This saying is true and I can add that food being the basic need in life, a child would rather prefer living in the streets scavenging for food in the dustbin rather than going to school. For this reason we endeavour to find a solution to feeding a population of over 600 needy children in both Kisumu and Nairobi counties.
We have commenced the irrigation process in Kisumu county where piping has been done from the water pan to the farm but we are yet to install the water storage tanks and prepare for the drip irrigation requirements. When this project would be over, the following will be its impacts:
We want also report that during the reporting period as much as the food prices have been more than three times increased due to draught and the unstable political situation, through your commitment we managed to successfully give breakfast and lunch to all the pupils in Kisumu and Nairobi counties and keeping 14 most vulnerable in a conducive home atmosphere for their upkeep.
Our appeal and request is that you help us continue to find a permanent solution for the feeding program by your continuous donation as you are able and willing.
Thank you very much as you share with your networks and friends.
