They are getting some good consistent rain in NE Uganda the past few weeks so we are hopeful that they can get some crops planted and harvested. It has been a tough couple of years. In fact over the last two months we have been raising funds for famine releif because of the poor crops. I have let our Ugandan partners know that we have funds available to purchase a disc/harrow. They are now shopping in Kampala for such a piece of equipment. We believe that this tool will allow them to break the soil up into finer particles and make it easier to plant and harvest. I will be in Uganda in December to check on the progress of this project. Thank you all for your support.
