Legal Support Camp for women

In our working region, Salem district, the women and their families were highly affected by the second wave of COVID-19. in the months of April, May June and July, the lives of the daily work women were highly distrubed, many of them severly infected by the COVID second wave. they lost thei relatives, kith and kins in the devastating pandemic.  due to country wide lockdown, the daily work women struggled for their basic survival needs.

We provided dry ration kits for more than 5000 families with support of variousdonors and individuals. also we conducted health awarenss campaign to prevent the peoplefrom infections. We supported the victims to access the medical facilities from nearby hospitals. We also provided food packets for the needy people in the pandemic seasion.

our efforts were highly appreciated by the public and government departments. Now we conduct free legal Aid camps to the public women to access the reliefand social securty schemes in right tme. it is done by the support of District Legal Services Authority, Salem. The Sub Judge Mr. Thangaraj participate in the camp and give free legal counselling to the victimsof COVID-19 victims. He also ensured to supportto access the benefits from government departments.

We convey our appreciation to all our supporters those who give support and hope in the pandemic time.
