Dear all,
This project was developed to support 1000 street children in the North East of Nigeria who have been orphaned or abadoned have serve as source of easy recruits for violent groups such as Boko Haram. As reported earlier, we have identified the first 50 recipients for this project but working on raising more funds before the first set of potential beneficiaries will begin receiving support. We have raised a total of $175 and will start full implementation as soon as we reach the $500 threshold.
As stated earlier, this project will provide shelter, food and educational opportunities to these identified street children. As a first step, part of the CSDEA livelihoods center in Yola/Jimeta, Adamawa State Nigeria will be used to house the first set of recipients pending when we can get a more permanent accomodation for them.
