Updates on mobilizing to start this project

By Theophilus Ekpon | Project Coordinator

The Centre for Sustainable Development and Education in Africa (CSDEA) developed this project to empower 1000 street children in the North East region of Nigeria where around 1.5 million children are currently homeless and have become easy recruits as child soldiers and fighters for violent extremist groups like Boko Haram. The project intend to support these children by providing them with food, shelter and educational opportunities.

As reported earlier, we have identified the first 50 recipients for this project and hope to intensify the process of mobilization of additional resources to enable us to begin the implementation of this project in the second quarter of 2019. In this regards, we call on all our supporters who have donated to support us in reaching out to friends, family and colleagues to discuss possible donations to this project with them.
