Updates: Save Street Children in Nigeria

By Theophilus Ekpon | Project Coordinator

The Centre for Sustainable Development and Education in Africa (CSDEA) developed this project to empower 1000 street children in the North East region of Nigeria where around 1.5 million children are currently homeless and have become easy recruits as child soldiers and fighters for violent extremist groups like Boko Haram. The project intend to support these children by providing them with food, shelter and educational opportunities.

The CSDEA has identified the first 50 children to participate in this project but still in the process of raising funds to be able to start this activity. In the meantime, we call on those that have donated to help us reach out to people you know who can donate to make this project a success.
