Different disabilities require an individual approach to rehabilitation. Today we would like to show you Konrad, who lost a leg. Our wonderful team of physiotherapists first worked for several months on strengthening and preparing the residual limb for the prosthesis. Now Konrad is verticalized using the PRAGMA system to prepare him for using a lower limb prosthesis at the thigh level. Standing posture also teaches him how to stabilize his body and how to move on crutches. Until now, Konrad used a wheelchair, so this change is like a new life for him.
Later in this short video you see Joanna who suffers from Cerebral Palsy. No, we are not cruel and we did not throw her from the wheelchair onto the floor ;) There is a reason behind this! Through such crawling, Joanna is perfecting the technique of rolling from side to side, which allows her, for example, to freely change positions at night, without the help of a third person. It doesn't seem like much, but it's extremely important to Joanna because it leads to at least a bit of independence in her life.
Such activities are possible thanks to you and your support, for which we thank you very much!
