PORTABLE WATER SUPPLY TO RURAL DWELLERS IN NIGERIA

Our portable water supply to our index rural community in Nigeria continue to remain our priority despite the increasing difficulty in carrying out this programme.

Though the original targeted population is 30,000 people, the population relying on our water supply has risen to over 50,000. This is partly as a result of a rural migration following the post COVID19 Pandemic economic hardship in the cities.

Moreover, the number of rural farmers from the urban community of Auchi and other neighboring rural communities that pass our index community to their farms has also increased astronomically.

Also, the perennial power problem that makes pumping water to our population to less than six hours daily persists. Powe supply from the National Grid remains epileptic.

In order to solve the above two challenges of power supply and increase demand for our product; portable water supply to our index community, provision of a10KVA solar power supply system  is inevitable.

The cost of acquiring this complimentary power source is rising gradually and the estimated cost at this moment is $35500.00 (Thirty five thousands, five hundred dollars.)

on behalf of our foundation, I thank GlobalGiving and the donors that have made it possible for us to go this far. I also however appeal to both teams to work towards our acquisition of this complimentary power source.

Thank you all for making life living for our rural community.
