2020 started very well for Ncinci Ones Montessori - we have welcomed 10 new children to our preschool thus far and 3 more will be joining when school re-opens.
The newsbies all settled in very quickly and are doing lots of activities of Everyday Living, where they are building the concentration necessary for later work.
The Siyafunda Afterschool program welcomed 16 new children and they are all loving the program, while developing their isiXhosa, Maths and English.
All the children were really sad when they heard that school had to close early and that there would not be a holiday program for them.
Food parcels will be delivered to the mamas of all the children early next week, as our community is under immense financial pressure due to covid 19.
