Ncinci Ones Going Well!

Building Concentration - Ncinci Ones Montessori
Building Concentration - Ncinci Ones Montessori

2022 has started very well for Ncinci Ones Montessori.  We welcomed 10 new children to our preschool and the newbies have settled in nicely.  We have a strong group of 5 year olds, who are most helpful in assisting the new children to get settled - it is really wonderful to observe.

The Practical Life and Sensorial learning areas of the school are a hive of activity at the moment and the older children are doing numbers and reading in the hexagon classroom, where all is quiet.

Our two local Teachers, Nosandise and Luyolokazi, are attending their Montessori training course and they are developing so beautifully and applying what they have learnt - another great thing to observe.

The grass is being removed for where our veggie garden is going and everyone is excited about working in the veggie garden. Our premises are now animal proof, due to our Bonnox fence we put up late in 2021.

We now have a sister school, Ngoko Montessori, in a village about 17km from us, and we are trying really hard to help them with nutrition for their 30 children.

We are helping more and more rural children become literate!

Thank you to everyone for your wonderful support!

Kind regards

Dawn
