Dear HOPE Supporter,
Due to the great support of our Mothers' Clubs, we have ruly increased our campaign in providing maternal health to remote areas. Just last week, HOPE held a camp in the remote area of Khurushkul, where we have one of our rural medical centers. HOPE's Mothers' Club in Khurushkul referred as many pregnant mothers that they were able to, who were of a certain gestational age. HOPE is curently conducting a research project where we enroll women at 22 weeks gestation to test for eclampsia, a life-threatening condition many pregnant women in rural bangladesh face, but are unaware. Due to their efforts, we were able to work with 14 women. These women received antenatal care, urinary analysis, and a complete check inclusive of mother's weight, blood pressure and baby's position. As it is difficult for our staff to routinely travel to the remote areas, our Mothers' Clubs help in our canvassing efforts to bring services to the patients who need it most.
Thank YOU for your support.
Sincerely,
Ashley Pugh
