Dear HOPE Supporter,
As we begin an exciting new project providing safe delivery and pregnancy support to rural women in Cox's Bazar, our Mothers' Clubs are more active than ever. HOPE Hospital staff consulted with members of our clubs to recruit pregnant women from their villages who would, due to financial, transport, or traditional reasons, give brith at home at the hands of untrained birth attendants. They futher wouldn't understand the need for antenatal care, and most certainly would not see it as necessary for the health of themselves or their baby. As it stands today, 284 women have been enrolled to receive maternal care they are desperately need. Our efforts are greatly supported by the Mothers' Clubs who spread our messages, counsel their fellow community members and encourage better health for their communities. We are cotninuously greateful for the success our Mothers' Clubs contibute to in every project.
Best Regards,
Ashley Pugh
