Prey Lang Community Network continue to be restricted from doing their patrol of their forest by rangers under the Ministry of Environment. Forest crimes in PL continue to at an unstoppable level. With the smartphone and smartphone training for PLCN activists allowed them to take pictures of forest crimes especially illegal logging and transportation of the logs out of Prey Lang areas. The pictures taken help the PLCN activists to proof that the PL forest are still at a great risk not only affecting their livelihood but also their holistic identity of Kuy ethnic minority which also include hugely their traditions and beliefs.
