Capacity Building for 31 Women from PLCN and PFCN
PBO provided the capacity development programs for women ethnic minority groups from Prey Lang Community Network (PLCN) and Preahrokar Forest Community Network (PFCN) (from Preah Vihea, Kampong Thom, Tsung Treng and Kratie) focusing on problem-solving for personal and families conflict, by equipping women with the necessary skills to address familial challenges and conflicts, they can contribute to the overall well-being and harmony within their households. These programs can provide women with the tools to effectively communicate, mediate, and resolve conflicts, fostering healthier family dynamics and promoting a sense of unity for both family and their community members. Moreover, capacity development also plays a crucial role in promoting forest protection. By educating women about the importance of preserving natural resources, they can become powerful allies in conservation efforts. They can actively participate in initiatives aimed at sustainable forest management, thereby ensuring the long-term health and well-being of these vital ecosystems, by fostering an inclusive environment where women are empowered to actively participate in community events and take the lead in raising awareness about GBV, children protection, and the importance of natural resource conservation.
