The Link Up of Thé SPARC PROGRAM, of White Plains, New York, had a tour of Stone Barns at Blue Hill farm. About 15 people participated. They learned about sustainable farming and saw the gardens, the chicken coups, the bee hives, the greenhouses, and the animals. Everyone found it very interesting. Many questions were asked and they learned a lot. After the tour they went to the Rockefeller Preserve in Tarrytown. and had a picnic. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor nature experience, and look forward to more outdoor excursions with Access Nature of the Lewisboro Land Trust. (SPARC services developmentally challenged adults)
