Dear Donor,
In Maram Refugee Camp, located in northern Syria, lives a young boy named Said, who lost his father to a terminal illness. Said, who no longer carries the happiness his name implies, is an orphan. He became responsible for taking care of his infant brother and mother after his father’s passing. This child, who should be playing and enjoying his childhood, is now the sole provider for his family, carrying a burden far beyond his years.
Thanks to your generous support, our team was able to reach Said’s family. We spoke with him about his hopes and dreams for the future. He promised us that he would not give up on his studies despite the hardships, and that he would strive to build a better future for himself and his family. He also promised that he would stay hopeful, and that we would continue to visit him regularly to provide him with fresh bread.
Thanks to your donations, our team was able to distribute fresh bread to most of the displaced people in this camp, including Said’s family. This bread is more than just food for them—it is hope, it is life. It helps them survive another day in this harsh reality.
Your support is not only about providing food; it is about giving children like Said the chance to stay alive and hold on to hope. This fresh bread you provide means much more than sustenance—it means they can continue to live with some dignity, knowing that there are people who care.
Continued support for this project will allow us to provide for more families like Said’s. Each loaf of bread you help provide brings relief, reduces suffering, and gives hope for a better future. Your support is not just helping to feed people, it is giving them a chance to hold on to the future.
We thank you deeply for your generosity and support. You are giving children like Said a chance to live with hope and dignity. Thanks to your contributions, they now have a reason to continue, a loaf of bread that symbolizes new hope in their lives.
With many thanks,
