Bread for Saleh's Family: A Lifeline in Maram Camp

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Donor,

In Maram Camp, located in northern Syria, in the countryside of Suran, countless heartbreaking stories unfold every day. Among them is the story of Saleh, a young boy who lives with his sick mother and older sister, Fatima, in a tent that offers no protection from the scorching summer heat or the freezing winter cold. Despite being only sixteen, Fatima has taken on the responsibility of providing for her family after losing their father in a car accident last year. She works tirelessly picking fruits and vegetables to secure food for her little brother and ailing mother, who suffers from diabetes, all while enduring harsh and unforgiving living conditions.

Thanks to your generous donations, we have been able to provide bread for this family, easing the burden of hunger in the absence of a stable income. Your continued support is the only hope for these families, helping them withstand the hardships of life.

We need to keep this generosity going, as many families in the northern Syrian camps are living in dire conditions and desperately waiting for a helping hand. Your donations make a real difference and bring hope to the hearts of children and mothers struggling to survive.

Thank you for your generous support—because of you, hope lives on.
