Dear Supporters and Friends of COCE,
As we begin 2025, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the significant progress that has been made to the Library for Sijowa. The Library for Sijowa will be located in Busia County and will be a center for education, community, and empowerment. The library will be filled with books, technology, and programs dedicated to supporting the community.
Due to the support of donors, like you, we have been able to complete all drainage work, the ceiling, doors, windows, and electrical hook-ups. These are accomplishments that take us closer to the completion of the library. Completing these tasks has ensured that the library will be safe and reliable for all community members.
Looking forward, the next steps in completing the library are to finish the electrical work, plumbing, install glass for the windows, and paint the library. With your dedicated support, we will accomplish these tasks.
Your donation is not a gift we take lightly. We appreciate your willingness to give to the children in Kenya and your belief in our mission. Your continued support ensures that the goal of the library, to provide social and educational support to the children and community members of Busia County, will be realized.
