Safe Water Sports has managed to increase the awareness of children in order to ''Stop drownings in EU & save a child's life''. So far, the Organization has visited schools and has informed children in Greece regarding the safety rules in the sea, in the swimming pool and in water sports. During April-May-June, the Organization managed to inform more than 4,000 children.
In order for the educational program to be effective, the Organization has enriched the content of its educational material through the construction of illustrated safety rules cards in the swimming pool, various games such as the ''word finder'' and the ''unscramble the rule'' in order to educate children.
Since the awareness of children in EU is the Organization's primary focus, recently the Organization signed an official cooperation agreement with Cyprus and the French Institute-Embassy of France in order to expand the educational program in the schools of these countries too.
Finally, Safe Water Sports has started participating in a series of events and awareness campaigns (located in malls, summers camps, summer schools and children festivals) in Greece and Cyprus during summer period in order to provide awareness to children regarding the safety measures in the water through entertainment.
