Do you know that thanks to your help (in 4 month) we were able to help 101 women? Women who were very frightened, stressed, usually lonely and without any hope. Or in enormous sorrow after losing their babies or having difficult or even suicidal thoughts after giving birth. It was lifechanging to those women and their babies to find support – emotional and financial. We would like to sincerely thank you for your help that you are providing, as only with it we can continue helping.
„After finding out about the 3rd pregnancy, which was unplanned, my husband changed, plunged into addictions and turned away from the family. I was left alone responsible for everything. There were really all kinds of thoughts, pressure from the environment and no support. The financial situation and psychological state were definitely not where you could think about expanding your family. The past year was terrible: physical, psychological and other problems. Addictions in the near environment, my illnesses, suicidal thoughts, loneliness, the question of survival and children who need constant care and healthy mother.
I realized one thing - that I will not bear this pain and burden alone, so although I do not like to ask for help, I turned to the Krizinio nestumo centras, where from the very first message I received support and help (not just in words): psychologist, lawyer, clothes, other things, etc. Throughout the entire pregnancy, they were constantly interested in my condition, I felt constant warm communication.
I was able to resist my toxic environment and prepare for the arrival of this child. The most surprising thing was that when I had a child, I received congratulations and words of support only from Krizinio nestumo centras, when even my close environment was unable to say the word „Congratulations“...
The only people for whom we are the whole world are our children. They are the meaning and motivation and the impetus to continue living, although inside it is so empty, it hurts and there are still unhealed wounds, but they are not to blame for this. Today, I am a mother of 3 children and I cannot imagine how it could have been otherwise, when I am already holding a newborn baby. I believe that this was just a stage. „
During past 4 months we had 110 new people who applied for the help at our Centre - 101 women and 9 men.Totally 444 different consultations were provided to them. These were usually women who sought help in their despair while pregnant, after birth or baby loss. We got news about 18 babies born to women who got help at our Centre. It‘s always such a joy to get such news!
Help provided:
During Christmas seasonevery year we organize special help to women. To many people, Christmas is a joyful time; however, to some, this period is very sad and much harder because loneliness and poverty become even more apparent. Traditionally, we give Christmas Eve gift cards to families for whom it is a difficult time to buy food for Christmas. This time, 31 families got such help – it‘s 31 woman and 85 their children!!!For this help we spent 1900 euros.
