We want to start this report by acknowledging how grateful we are about the simple things that we take for granted every day and thanking our donors for joining us in this journey. During this period, we were blessed by not having to deal with any storm. Most of the repairs to the Hogares Teresa Toda, after Hurricane Maria, were completed. Thanks to donors like you the roof at the resident's dorm was sealed, the new fire alarm system was installed, and the facility was painted and once again, for all of that and many things more, we are grateful. However, the main entrance doors and the cement hanger to protect our passenger vans are still pending.
Time passed and the maintenance of a structure like Hogares Teresa Toda is on-going. The facility is due to be painted entirely once again, the main entrance door continues to deteriorate, the parking lot is in need to be asphalted, we need a pressure washer to clean up roof and front of the building, and some girl's cabinets need to be repaired.
Thanks to God, these are only material needs because our girls are receiving the best care and attention possible. We are proud to say that our institution was granted with the maximum accreditation provided by CARF which is three years. This accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that an organization can receive highlighting excellence in the provision of program services. For your reference, here is the link to our accreditation. Hogares Teresa Toda HH. Carmelitas Teresas De San Jose, Inc. (carf.org)
God bless you all and thank you because giving is not just donating but making the difference!
