Warmth of Giving in Winter's Cold: Together to Support Displaced Families in Syria

By HUSSAM AUSTA | project leader

Dear Donor,

With the severe cold wave that has hit northern Syria, the suffering of displaced families in camps along the Syrian-Turkish border has doubled. These families endure harsh conditions in tents that barely protect them from the winter cold, amid a severe shortage of basic necessities such as food, heating, and winter clothing.

Despite all the challenges, our team is doing everything possible to deliver humanitarian aid to the most vulnerable families, thanks to your generous support and continued trust.

With your donations, we have been able to distribute bread to Samira’s family, who live in one of the informal camps in the countryside of Suran, northern Syria. Samira lives with her sick father, mother, and three sisters. Despite suffering from heart disease, her father struggles daily to provide for his family by buying vegetables from local farmers and selling them in the markets of Azaz, northern Syria.

Your continued support ensures the sustainability of this aid and provides food security for hundreds of families facing extreme hardship. Your generosity makes a real difference in the lives of many and helps alleviate the suffering of children and families left homeless due to dire circumstances.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Together, we can make a real impact.
