After Surviving the Bombing... Hanan and Her Sisters Struggle to Survive in the Displacement Camp

By Hasan Sadik | Project leader

Dear Donor,

Day by day, as the ceasefire in Gaza takes effect, the scale of the humanitarian crisis that families have endured for over 15 months becomes increasingly clear. Displacement, loss of shelter, and lack of basic necessities have become a daily reality for thousands.

Hanan, Shireen, Fatima, and Halima—four young girls living with their parents in Masqat School Camp in northern Gaza, after losing their home, which was completely destroyed just moments after they managed to escape.

Now, in the camp, the family faces harsh conditions—no adequate food, no clean water, and not even a warm bed to sleep in. The girls live in constant fear, missing the safety and stability they once had, while their parents struggle each day to find even the simplest means of survival.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide bread for this family and many other displaced families, ensuring they have at least the most basic sustenance to survive. But the needs remain immense, and the hope for a dignified life for these families depends on the continuation of your support.

Your donation makes a difference. Thousands of families in Gaza need food, shelter, and care. With your help, we can continue to provide relief and extend a hand of hope to those who need it most.

On behalf of Hanan, Shireen, Fatima, Halima, and everyone who has received your support, we sincerely thank you. Your generosity gives them a chance at life despite the hardships.

With many thanks
