We are glad to announce that our fabulous team: Diana, Sarahí, Fabiola, Jalil, and René, has begun their beach surveys to protect sea turtle nests at Celestún, El Cuyo, and Holbox in the Yucatán Península. The daily night surveys started on April 8th, and by April 30th, our team has registered and protected 133 hawksbill sea turtle nests. We hope to see many hatchlings emerge from these nests in June.
Thanks to your contribution, we can continue these actions and protect more nests. The nesting season will continue until October and, we have much to do until then. Please share our project with your friends, and help us have a successful nesting season.
