We met with our team the day before our MBM day to assign tasks and prepare. We also purchase spare parts and prepare as well as look over material at our warehouse a week before our activity begins to confirm that everything is ready. Our teams and volunteers double-checked everything and prepared breakfast for our mission day the day before the activity began. We also have new students involved in our activities as well. More than that, our students sharing a lot of their experience to our new students too. Funny story never misses out when we are together. Everyone is delighted to join in our activity, and they had a great time preparing and cooking.
Everyone is ready and full of energy to start our day. We did some cooking at the evening before a day so we can prepare well for our morning too. In the morning, some of our contributors and team gathered at around 4AM and started to cook the breakfast for the whole members and some others prepared materials and tool that we necessary took to use in MBM. After everything finished, PB team began to check up to see if we lack of anything. We left the campus and went through the road by buses to reach at Tropeang Prey Primary School and Secondary School. We reached the school at about eight as the school is quite far from the town. When we arrived there, we had greeted the teachers than had a short meeting with all the students about the structure and group member. After that, everyone starts our mission fixing all the bikes there one by one, plus they worked so hard since 8:30 AM until 12:30 PM in the afternoon. We had late lunch because everyone really enjoys working even it is a little bit hot. We had Lok Lak, beef soup, and dessert for lunch. All of these foods are healthy foods that provide more energy. After lunch we did continue our mission again. Under the hot weather, everyone did very incredible job, especially our new students even this is theirs first time joining our MBM, but they see like an expert people and working very hard by hand and heart. We really proud and appreciate our students and volunteers for putting much effort helping us to make our mission gone well.
We were really surprised that we Totally fixed 109 bicycles in one at day Tropeang Prey Primary and Secondary School. It is fantastic, that was the outcome of the work we had done with the team, our students, and volunteers. Finally, at 5:00 PM, we completed the mission briefly and then gathered for a group reflection. Our team said, "Thank you so much to the school directors" who allowed us to run MBM in that the community, especially since he allowed us to organize the activities in the school and was also very cooperative and involved with us. We also appreciated our students, volunteers, and PP students for their hard effort in each capacity during the activity. The school director, expressed his feelings that he was very excited that they were able to get the bike fixed and that it worked, yet allow the students to get to schools more easily. More specials he also introduces Vanna to the students at Tropeang Prey and shows them that he is their senior’s brother who us to study there and now come back to help then and the community. The teachers also stated that this is the education that led Vanna to stand in front of everyone today. So please keep going to school Furthermore, the PB team encouraged all the students to go to school regularly. We had group photos together before we finished our activity. Please have a look at some photos and the attendance list below.
