Give pregnant goat to widow or orphan in Uganda

We did it again!

By Michael Hildenbrand | Project Leader

Last December ( 2024) a team of 11 people from the Pac US iPacific Northwest traveled to Uganda to once again give pregnant goats to Widows and orphans.  This time most of the receipients were orphans.  Most were under the care of a grandparent or other close family member.  This time was gave 50 goats.  As you may remember the recipient CANNOT eat the goat.  They can only sell them or trade them.  This gives them a stream of income. From this pregnant goat they could get as many as six babies in one year!  This continues to be one of the most impactful projects we do in Uganda.  Can't wait for our next trip.
