This project just keeps on giving!

Villagers who received a goat
Villagers who received a goat

In January a team from Portland, Oregon traveled to Uganda to do some construction work.  While there they got to distribute 65 goats to widows, orphans, and handicapped individuals in a remote village. These distributions turn out to be a huge village wide celebration.  The entire village turns out dressed in their best clothes.  Local government officials come and give speeches.  They always thank us for helping their people.  It is always a highlight of our trips.  It truly is a gift that keeps on giving.  Another team will be going again in January and we would like to raise enough money by then to distribute more goats.  Thanks for making this project possible.
