DigiServe's Child at Risk System (CARS) is not going away but will continue under the new DigiServe project site in order to reflect our financial needs and progress within 2024.

We are deactivating this initial, original project page in favor of the new one becasue we can share more about all of DigiServe's activities and not just about CARS. If you are a recurring giver, you will be autmatically transferred to the new project.

Since our last update in June, we have added two more children's homes and made addtional progress on our latest app for children's home called the Family Stengthening System (FSS).

Regarding FSS, the goal is to help families be able to keep their children at home rather then putting them into a residential program. Some children's homes are adding this as an additional way to serve children which is often better for the children and better for the families. It means that a family is given money to allow the kids to go to school, buy uniforms and books etc. However, the family has to be on a budget and receive monthly coaching for a year to see if they can improve their circumstances. Our app helps track the families financial situation and the progress of the children and the information is used for the staff of the children's home to help them serve the family.

We are also excited to announce that we are now serving two more children's home with the CARS app. One of them is the Bandek Bunthong Foundation. We trained two of their staff to use CARS. The other one is Piamruk Foundation which is an after-school children's program. We trained two of their staff as well. We are excited about our new partnership with these two children's homes and will continue to look for ways to serve them in order for the children to have the best chance of a full and healthy life.
