Dear Partners,
In the last update, I shared about the two new children's homes that have started to use our Child At Risk System (CARS) in Chiang Mai. They are actively using it to help manage their homes. We recently just added another home and they were immediately trained and setup.
The photo shows one of the staff and two of our team members training on CARS.
Here's how they have been described: "In Thai culture, it is rare for an unknown abandoned baby to be adopted because of the associated bad karma attached to the child, particularly a disabled child. Kingdom Kids helps young orphaned and at- risk Thai children, most with developmental problems, to reach their potential by establishing a network of foster homes. They train and mentor Thai carers and foster parents and also provide an educational programme for those children who would not be accepted in the local Thai schools. This project is based in small rural villages about 32 km north of Chiang Mai and works in close association with the local Government orphanage. Currently 22 young children have been given a new future through Kingdom Kids."
We are excited they have become a client and are hoping we can do more to help them serve their children.
I also hope you will take 50 seconds to watch the video of one of the staff from a home that joined us last year. She is very enthusiatic about CARS!
Thank you for your partnership. We cannot do this without your support.
Sincerely,
Ric Poolman
