The 2024 school year ended on a high for Ncinci Ones Montessori. Our two local Directressess attended their ECD Graduation ceremony on 30 November - six years after starting their studies. Both the Directresses are very happy to be finished their studies after the long road they had to travel.  Ten local women qualified as Directresses on 30 November 2024.

Five of the Ncinci Ones graduated on 5 December and they are all going to Grade 1 at the local Mdedeleni Junior Secondary School.

The Directresses attended two Professional Development Workshops in the last period of 2024, one at the Bulungula Incubator and the other at Ikhaya Labantwana Montessori.  These workshops are presented in isiXhosa, the local language, and this enables all the attendees to fully understand the content and contribute their experiences.  Our Directresses enjoy these 'hands-on' workshops and always bring back practical elements to improve their classroom management.

The children have just recently returned to school for the 2025 school year and they are all very happy to be back at school, enjoying doing their activities.

We are looking forward to the 2025 school year.

Thank you everyone for your support.

Kind regards

Dawn and the Ncinci Ones
