Providing Food to Families of Hospital Patients

In 1977, Fatima Memorial Hospital started as a 200 bed community hospital for women and children care. By the Grace of God Almighty, in the year 2000, Fatima Memorial Hospital transformed into a 510 bed multi-specialty tertiary care teaching hospital. Fatima Memorial Hospital believes in service excellence and quality health care to the ailing humanity. Core philosophy of functioning of Fatima Memorial Hospital is cross subsidization where funds generated from affording patients are utilized for the benefit of underprivileged and indigents.

After 40 years of providing quality healthcare service, we proudly state that 85% of our patients are provided care on subsidized rates or treated free of cost. We also focus on keeping our traditions alive and spreading happiness among these people by providing them with basic needs. 

During the month of Ramadan, we serve iftar to our patients and the under privileged. The fact that Ramadan is a month of blessings and the number of patients is increasing day by day; we require your support to ensure they are served with food during this month of blessing.

This is a tradition we have always emphasized on and we continue to serve our patients next year as well. These efforts make us an institution that believes that every patient is a guest and we have to serve our guests and their families. Through your donations and support, we would like to carry on this goodwill gesture for future as well. 

Iftari is the meal served after breaking of Fast in the holy month of Ramadan and since the patients come from very poor backgrounds a proper meal is sometimes simply not possible thus we serve our patients and their families iftari.
