Fatima Memorial Hospital is serving its patients since 1977. Hospital provides free quality treatment to all deserving patients from all walks of life without discrimination. Till date, Fatima Memorial Hospital has provided free treatment to millions of needy patients and continuously looking to provide best health services to all patients. We at Fatima Memorial Hospital have treated almost 87 % patients free of cost. We prefer and look after patients from rural areas that are very poor and stay in our hospital for their treatment.
Ramadan is the holy month of Muslims in Islam which comes once in every year. There are many Muslims in the world who fast in Ramadan. People eat before Sehr as ordered in Islam and stay hungry until the sunset for Iftar. Fasting during the holy month is one of the five pillars of Islam, which also include prayer and charity. To fast, Muslims abstain from eating, drinking, smoking and engaging in sexual activity from dawn to sunset. In fasting, by refraining from the natural human urges to satisfy one’s appetite, we are exercising our ability of self-restraint, so that we can then apply it to our everyday life to bring about self-improvement.
In Ramadan it is also our obligation to look after those people who are poor and don’t have the food for fasting and Iftar. We should not forget those people since this is very rewarding in Islam if we care for poor people and give them food, shelter and clothes. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said: “Whoever gives food for a fasting person to break his fast, he will have a reward like theirs, without that detracting from their reward n the slightest.” Live your life like every day is Ramadan and the Akhirah will become you, Eid.
We have many poor patients who got admitted in our hospital and they have their families who are living with them as their attendants in the hospital. Fatima Memorial Hospital and NUR Foundation provides Iftari to its patients and attendants as well as in routine days we serve food to many patients.
Providing free food to our patients in Ramadan and in daily routine on continuous basis is very difficult due to financial constraints. We are providing the free food to our patients only because of the generous support of our donors. To continue this cause we need your support on regular basis so that we can provide free food to patients without any break.
We request you to please provide your full support to us in continuing this noble cause.
