Theis our initial educational program, which is designed to help children who live in poverty and children whose families cannot afford private preschool.
Our focus is on educational support for children, especially the most vulnerable and ages birth to 12 years.
Our programs include tutoring for children in grades 2-6 to teach them Arabic reading, and writing and touting for students in grades 4-7 who struggle in math, English, sciences, and Arabic grammar.
These programs are taught by volunteers who normally work in the fields of childhood development and education.
Anecdotal reports indicate that the children participating in our programs are making a vast improvement in school. Children who were not able to read and write are showing very good results. Our tutoring programs give students individualized attention that they don’t get in a crowded classroom. This helps them to keep up in addition to challenging those who aren’t challenged enough in their classes at school.
An additional benefit to children and their families who participate in our program is that they frequently receive baskets of food, clothing including school uniforms, toys, snacks, and other household items.
