Our common efforts finally have been rewarded. Paint and Quarter Horse Foundation Bulgaria recently became the first organization with a license for this social service in Bulgaria. The license includes therapy with animals and therapeutic riding for children and young people with disabilities. Thanks to the qualifications of the instructors and the programs the foundation organizes the state authorities considered that the social service we provide deserves to be awarded. This is a great recognition of our efforts to provide free equine-assisted therapy in Bulgaria. It is also one step further towards regulating this type of rehabilitation in the country.
We successfully opened the next 3 month Program for another seven children with special needs. They will be attending weekly therapeutic riding sessions for free at our facilities. We are still pursuing our ultimate goal to build a Horse Therapy Centre where children with disabilities and their families will be able to come for free, receive regular therapy and retreat.
On 18th of July from 09:00 ET to 23:59 ET, GlobalGiving is matching donations over $100 up to $1000. The higher the donation the higher the match. Let’s keep growing our family and supporters by donating and sharing to everyone in our network.
