2022 gave a start to a long planned project for our organization – Youth in Equine-Assisted Therapy/YEAT/.
The project aims to gather organizations from different sectors and embark upon together a journey to better the quality of the work, activities and practices of the entities in the field of YEAT across the partner countries – Bulgaria, France, Belgium, the European Union and internationally. The project will advance the capacity of the participating organizations, build bridges between different sectors, address common needs and priorities in YEAT, create and spread innovative approaches in YEAT, serve children and young people with disabilities.
The first meeting of the partnering organizations already took place and the team is already working hard on collecting good practices of equine-assisted therapy from Belgium, France, and Bulgaria.
We are excited to build up our expertise in equine-assisted therapy and apply it in our Program ‘’Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities’’.

Join the Christmas Campaign

This winter we have one goal - to ensure that the children with disabilities continue their regular equine-assisted therapy. Our campaign ‘’Christmas Gift – Therapy for a Disabled Child’’ aims to gather funding for the Spring 2022 Program for free therapeutic riding. Find updates and lots of bonuses by joining the facebook event here: facebook event
During this past summer season, the children with disabilities in our program had new experiences. Through the project ‘’Young Volunteers and Horses Make a Change for Children with Disabilities’’ our team was able to introduce the children to other cultures. Young Europeans dedicated their time and energy to help the children improve their conditions. The children had a lot of fun learning about Portugal, France, and Germany. They even learned how to count in French and Portuguese languages! That was an incredible outcome which could not be possible without the help of the best teacher – the horse.
We accomplished so much together. We know we will continue thanks to supporters like you.

We Continue with Only 1 Instructor

Timi is getting better
The past few months were very challenging for our organization. Unfortunately, one of the instructors left the organization. Since the end of May we had to rely only on 1 therapeutic riding instructor to complete the lessons of all children in the Spring Program for Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities.
Luckily, the instructor was assisted by volunteers. The volunteers are part of the team of the organization by means of the European Solidarity Corps project ‘’Young Volunteers and Horses Make a Change for Children with Disabilities’’. They come from different European Countries to help with the therapeutic riding sessions and the care for the horses. Their efforts and dedication has become a necessity. The instructor relies on them now to be able to carry out the sessions.
Thanks to the support of our donors and the efforts of the team we were able to fund and complete the Spring Program for Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities!
Even though, we now have only one instructor all of the children will continue their therapy sessions in the Summer Program. All we need is a little support in funding the rest of the Program.
Support us in undertaking the Summer Program for Free Therapeutic Riding for Children with Disabilities. Spread our cause further and let’s do it together!
