Helping 16 low income students return to college

The Daniel Rojas Mora Foundation was incepted 8 years ago, with the clear purpose of creating value for certain individuals, for their families, and for society in general. Those individuals are young talented university students who come from very challenged social environments, who have no access to the financial resources required to keep on paying their college tuitions, but who have very large dreams of becoming professionals in their respective careers and have demonstrated with their academic performance that they deserve to graduate.

Of course, the value that the Foundation provides is being able to financially sponsor our beneficiaries by covering the cost of their college tuitions until they graduate as professionals and hence have access to a much better quality of life, both for themselves and for their families.

While having set very clear missional objectives and staying within the foundational course, throughout all these years, has been very important, the core of the value and social impact that the Daniel Rojas Mora has created has been achieved in virtue of the very generous and continuous donations of our kind sponsors that have supported this cause with financial resources.

This kind support has allowed the foundation to sponsor 18 young talented beneficiaries, out of which 2 are still competing their academic studies. With the continued support of our good hearted sponsors we will soon achieve the 20 beneficiaries goal.

When we first envisioned our social impact mission of helping young talented college students with the financial support, they required to be able to complete their careers and become professionals, we never imagined that we would receive such an ample and generous response from our ample group of donors.

Not only this kind support has been very generous, it has also been continued along the 8 years that we have been in operation. We are glad to see that this love inspired social impact vision, has been shared by so many good-hearted individuals and organizations.

Thanks to our donor’s kind support, The Daniel Rojas Mora Foundation is glad to report that this semester we have been able to sponsor a new beneficiary who is currently studying hos fourth semester of Management Information Systems. As is the case of many young individuals in Colombia, our beneficiary comes from a less favored social extraction. Not only is his family’s financial support not enough to cover his university tuition, but he must work and study at the same time in order to bring money home in order to contribute to his household expenses.

Due to these challenging economic conditions, our beneficiary was intending to take only one subject this academic semester, since he could not afford to cover his whole semester tuition. Thanks to your generous support our beneficiary has been able to take all the required subjects this semester.
