Since February 2017 Boudy has barely had a decent summer due to the invasive treatment that he was receiving at CCCL; and this summer thanks to everyone’s support through CCCL UK and GlobalGiving Boudy will be enjoying his summer.
As we were approaching summer, we could see that Boudy was nervous yet excited, so we asked him why he was nervous, he said that since he started his treatment he spent a lot of time in semi isolation and his interaction with other children was very minimal, so he is a bit nervous to interact with his cousins who will be visiting Lebanon from Canada this summer especially that the last time he saw them he was still not diagnosed with cancer.
He then added that he is also very excited about this summer because of his cousin’s visit, this is because he is stronger and healthier than before, and he can do much more with them and really show them around. He also shared with us some stories that he will be sharing with them about his fight against cancer and he highlighted that he wants to show them how much hair he has lost and how much he has gained back.
In March 2020 Boudy will hopefully win his fight against acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), it’s still a long way to go but getting shorter by the day; and that’s for sure thanks to all the donors at CCCL UK and GlobalGiving UK because without your generosity Boudy would not have been enjoying his summer and welcoming his cousins, therefore we urge you to keep giving to help him win his battle against cancer.
