In February when Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL) was celebrating Childhood Cancer Day, one of its stars on this day was Boudy, this is thanks to everyone’s support through CCCL UK and GlobalGiving UK.
As we were preparing for the Childhood cancer Day celebrations, we realized that Boudy was very energetic and was looking around for the cameras; this surprised us as he is usually camera shy.
Boudy was running around wanting to help and pause at the same time, we overheard him telling his mother that he is so excited to pause in front of the camera this year, so the mother surprisingly said to him “ How come?” he replied saying that “ My hair is finally back and I am no different from other children, and I want everyone to see my new look”.
What was striking was that Boudy celebrated Children Cancer day at the center with his friends, and it was very heartwarming to see how he was encouraging his fellow patients at the center, and how he was telling them how things will get easier.
Today Boudy has 2 years to end his fight against Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL), he has come a long way and hopefully, in March 2020 he will be cancer free Without the support of our donors at CCCL UK and GlobalGiving UK, Boudy would not have been where he is today, and this is why we urge you to keep giving to aid us to help him get over this horrible disease.
