After 10 months of his treatment at the Children’s Cancer Center of Lebanon (CCCL), and with everyone’s support through CCCL UK and GlobalGiving UK, Boudy now 9 years old, is still undergoing his treatment with lots of hope, strength and persistence to beat cancer.
Currently in the maintenance phase of his treatment, Boudy has less than 3 years to end his fight against Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL).
We have told you earlier how Boudy comes to the center from North Lebanon once every week, accompanied by his neighbor Hanane who is also a patient at the CCCL. Boudy and Hanane have become more than friends; they are family now.
Indeed, during this festive season, Boudy and Hanane’s families will be spending Christmas Eve together, celebrating their children’s strength and resilience against cancer, and praying to God that 2018 will be a healthy year for all their beloved ones.
“We thank God for having the CCCL family in our life! It’s thanks to the doctors, the nurses, the team members and all donors and supporters that our tears this year were transformed to joy, hope and happiness,” said Boudy’s mother.
