The months of August and September were challenging with the incessant downpour and the arrival of many accident victims that had to be rescued and rehabilitated. Despite the hurdles, during these two months, combined with your generosity, we accomplished over 400 spay/neuter surgeries, rescued over 100 animals, treated over 700 community animals as out-patients, and vaccinated over 1000 pets!
The loving senior community pet Juno's limb was horribly crushed in an accident. We had no option but to amputate; but it was truly heartening to see him rebound after the post-operative care was completed. His laid back and accomodating nature along with our team's care helped him adapt to the new tripawd life-style quite gracefully.
Lucy was found with limbs crushed which necessitated amputation of both hind limbs. Miraculously she adapted to a bi-pawd life-style fast and stole the heart of an amazing cat mom who whisked her away to her forever home. She is the reigning queen of the house-hold now.
Abandoned senior pet Pari, and accident victims Sanah and Fighter have amazing stories to share. With grit and gumption they have conquered all adversities teaching us important lessons of life that no text book can ever impart. They have all joined our growing brood at the sanctuary.
We are most grateful for your recurring monthly donations that is a matter of great reassurance as the number of permanent rescues and special pets has been on the rise over the past few months. Your $50 donation covers the entire cost of care and treatment of a permanent rescue pet for a whole month. Special pets are those that have a low chance of getting adopted and virtual sponsorship is the biggest gift you can give them. We deeply appreciate your compassion and kindness. Thank you for being our pillar of support!
