It is with sadness and joy that we tell you all Khun Jalan died this month. She was very elderly lady who lived in the slum and passed away in her sleep. Thanks to your generous donations we were able to provide not only staple foods in her last days but also some of her favourite treats too.
Thank you for all of your generous doantions which enable us to purchase specialised liquid foods for our severely disabled children who cannot swallow. They are fed by either a nasal gastric tube or line directly into their tummy. Their families simply cannot afford this food which means that are often fed any liquids resulting in malnutriciton and poor health. Your donations are literally a life line to these children.
This month we also gave each family a small bottle of diswashing liquid which can be refilled for free when we visit each week. The aim is to improve hygeine which will lead to improved health. Sometimes it is the mall things that make the big difference.
Thank you for your ongoing support.
