Co-founders of GRACE Received CARE Training

We are serious about establishing a solid foundation for the family-based foster care initiative in central and northeast Thailand.

The co-founders of GRACE completed a thirty-hour training of the CARE (Child and Residential Experiences) childcare model. The program is established by experts in the field based at Cornell University (USA). The training includes twelve modules relative to caring for children and strengthening families.

The training was very beneficial and covered the following topics:

  • Building a Foundation
  • The Importance of Caring
  • Creating an Environment Where Children Can Thrive
  • Responding to Trauma and Pain-Based Behavior
  • Self-Understanding and Emotional Competence
  • Creating Conditions for Change
  • Helping Children Do Well
  • Striving fo rthe Ordinary in Residential Care
  • The Rhythm of Caring
  • Building a Caring Community
  • Essential Connections
  • The Struggle for Congruence in the Best Interests of the Child

Our leadership team will soon attend a collaborative meeting with organization and governmental leaders serving throughout Thailand.

Thanks to your genererous donation, our staff received great resources for Global Relief Association for Crises & Emergencies' Family-based foster care initiative for GRACE International Foundation Thailand. Because of your ongoing support, we are able to serve the children and families in Pattaya and Nakron Ratchasima (Korat).

Thanks for your continual encouragement and support. We are blessed through you!

GRACE exists to foster social change through strengthening families and eradicating the vulnerabilities of human trafficking and exploitation.
