GRACE Welcomes Robin & Wii van Engelenhoven
Robin and Wii van Engelenhoven have been working with children for more than five years in Thailand. They have worked with trafficked and abused children in safe homes and are working now in prevention. They joined the GRACE team to keep children safe from being trafficked and abused. They also discovered family-based foster care is the best alternative solution for children that cannot stay with their own familiy. Their heart is to see children grow up in loving families.
Robin has been helping with Child Protection Police and TICAC (Thailand Internet Crimes Against Children) teams, rescuing children and making sure they find a place away from danger. Now, he is resourcefully utilizing these contacts to ensure children will find a loving family instead of ending up in a big orphanage. He also has been in good contact with the like-minded organizations and government officials to spread the word about family-based foster care.
Robin and Wii are working directly with GRACE founders to develop and implement the family-based foster care program in our region of Thailand. Welcome Robin and Wii!
