Dear Donor,
We wanted to share with you one of the stories from the families in the northern Syrian camps—the story of four-year-old Mais, who lives in one of the informal camps in the countryside of Suran, northern Syria. Since birth, Mais has endured loss, as her father was martyred before she was born. She grew up in harsh material and living conditions, residing with her mother and sister in a simple tent that lacks the most basic necessities of life.
Living Conditions: Mais's family, like many other displaced Syrian families, suffers from severe economic hardship. Her mother tries hard to provide for them by working intermittently in agriculture, but these efforts barely cover the family’s basic needs. With a lack of consistent support, securing daily sustenance, especially bread, remains a daily challenge.
The Importance of Your Support: Thanks to your generous support, we have been able to distribute bread to Mais's family regularly. This not only satisfies their hunger but also serves as a lifeline, alleviating the burden of the difficult circumstances they face. Your support for this family, and others like them, paves the way for children like Mais to dream and live with dignity.
Because of your donations, we can meet the needs of the most affected families by the Syrian conflict. Mais's family draws strength from this support, which gives them hope for a better future. Every loaf of bread they receive means so much, granting them the opportunity to survive and continue living despite these challenging times.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your continued generosity and support, which makes a real difference in the lives of Mais and many other children like her
With many thanks
